In collaboration with elders and community historians in northern regions, WaaXaa documented nearly 300 oral histories through structured interviews, transcription, and cultural mapping.
School-Based Research Literacy Initiative
WaaXaa partnered with rural schools to train over 500 students in research methods, documentation, and reflective reporting to build a new generation of young researchers.
Environmental Knowledge Mapping in Delta Communities
Researchers and residents documented climate impacts on riverine lifestyles, combining lived experience with environmental data to produce community-centric adaptation reports.
